Thanks @emmaducklingsaviour for the tag! This was really fun but soo hard I could’ve easily picked 2 or 3 ships for each question 😂

1. Your first ship: Sonny and Chad (Sonny with a Chance) ugh my first Disney ship, the couple I shipped before I knew what shipping was. I remember being 10 years old and getting so excited when I was watching and they got together. Simpler times

2. Your first OTP: Sabrina and Harvey (Sabrina the Teenage Witch) I adored these two they were my childhood and I’m so happy they were endgame even though the last season was messy. I love this show and I love these two, definition of soulmates.

3. Your current favourite ship: Bellarke (the 100) when I get sad over Bellarke, I re-read the books because they have so many adorable moments in the books like their first kiss by the lake and Bellamy always teasing her. I love them so much and I could easily rant about how much I hate the writers but if you know you know. But at least they’re engaged in the books and Beliza are married🥺🥺

4. You shipped from the first minute: Ruby and Mulan (ouat) these two had so much chemistry and would’ve been so much more iconic than Ruby and Dorothy, and Mulan was definitely in love with Ruby when she first saw her.

5. You wish they had been endgame: Jess and Rory (Gilmore Girls) I’m still so upset over these two I love the early seasons of GG and they were perfect together. I don’t like to think about the year in the life I just focus on when they were in love 🥺

6. You wish they had been canon: Okay this was hard because I literally have so many. But I’m gonna go with Henry and Ivy (ouat) because they would’ve been so powerful together and I’ve ranted before on my page about how they should’ve been together and why it would’ve made so much sense but them being together would’ve made s7 so much better.

7. A ship you like but most of the fandom hates: Bash and Mary (Reign) I’m like the 1% of the fandom that preferred Mary and Bash like her and Francis were cute but I adored her and Bash they were adorable and Bash never got over his love for Mary even when he was with Kenna.

8. You don’t even watch the show but you ship them anyways: Chris and Eva (Skam) I could never really get into Skam but I always see these two in multicouples vids and I’ve watched a few moments online and I really like them even though I don’t really know what happens between them

9. You wish they had a different storyline; Tobias/Four and Tris (Divergent) okay Divergent is my comfort series and while I hate the movies for depriving us of amazing scenes and messing up the plot, I still love these two. I’ll forever be mad over the ending to Alleigant my babies deserved so much better 😭

10. Fave ship that was endgame: Captain Swan (OUAT) it was so hard not to put these two in another category but I love these two so much my entire blog is pretty much devoted to them. They really got their happy ending and I could rant for hours about them but I’m so happy they got their happily ever after 🥺

           credits intro as kemper walks down busy city streets, magazines everywhere showing popstar bellamy clearly having a mess of a time. some articles focus on excessive drinking, others who she’s dating now that she’s split with long time on and off partner, but kemper is rushed. food in his mouth, guitar case in one hand and his phone in the other. his background is a picture of himself and a girl but all the messages read that he can’t miss a meeting. he’s rushing in the direction of a studio. from the tape wrapped around his shoes and the broken handle of his guitar case he needs this break.

           kemper is in a recording booth being watched by a collective of producers and executives, his manager messy like him but among them. eventually the background audio is cut and kemper stops as they ask he come out, low audio playing beneath. they’re willing to sign him but they have a clause, that he needs to collaborate with one of their artists - bellamy. they don’t explain much but as he discusses with nicky, his manager, he’s given the run down on the failing popstar. since her break up she’s missed concerts, put her whole album on hold, and is costing the company extraordinary amounts of money. the tabloid he’s handed says it all. but it’s only one song.

           one song, bella is in her own recording studio, her gold and platinum albums hanging from the walls. one of the producers is saying this is the only way the company won’t sue her for breach of contract but she’s a mess. evidently hung over she is seated on the floor eating a bowl of various fruits, large bottle of water next to her. for a moment she fights back but eventually concedes, lyn is with her, insisting she doesn’t need to do this but bellamy knows she has to.

             having pulled herself together to get working with kemper they’re put together in a large studio, larger than the one he has for his own album. she keeps getting distracted though, asking for different water, pulling out her phone. the more she refuses to work, the more irritated he becomes until he leaves the studio. one song is one too many with her.

             kemper enters one of the smaller recording suites but finds bellamy inside, wrapped up in one of her exes shirts with her legs curled beneath herself, bare feet against the seat, she’s singing a song vastly different from the ones on various pop albums that have made her career iconic. kemper standing behind the glass can’t help but watch as she cries, guilt building more and more until she catches him.

           when kemper leaves the studio it’s raining, bella is waiting on the street, sleeves of his jacket covering her small hands as she shivers from the freezing evening that pours down onto them. she’s ready to say she’s sorry but he’s already closed the distance between them, lips catching her own, lifting her small self up onto her toes so she can remain within it. the paparazzi are still taking photos but neither of them pay them any mind. they have one another.

#Wardrobe Wednesday - Best and Worst Hairstyles, The Core 4

Note: some of these people have never had a bad hairstyle in their life, and others regularly rock questionable coiffs. Some have had multiple amazing, perfect styles - some barely changed from s1 to s5. For the sake of clarity, I’m doing ONE entry for each character, in both categories.

Clarke Griffin

BEST - The Princess Twist

Iconic, recognizable, the perfect blend of utilitarian and cute.

WORST - Rough in Red

Terrible dye job with berries, and how did her hair grow a eight inches in three months? White girl dreads + leaves = dirty hippie Clarke, and not in a cute way.

Raven Reyes

BEST - The Original Ponytail

It’s so Raven. It’s spunky and efficient! The cute little braids throughout, the way it keeps her hair out of her face so she can work? Perfect.

WORST - The Pale Imitation

Did Raven look beautiful throughout s6, with her loose curls? Yes, absolutely. Did it make me happy to see any ponytail return? Yes. But can I imagine Raven spending an hour in front of the mirror with a curling iron to perfect these beachy, bombshell waves? No. She lost some of her Raven-ness with this wardrobe update.

Octavia Blake

BEST - Grounder Braids

Early s3, specifically. Probably Octavia’s most iconic look, and I think the one that suits her face the best.

WORST - The Old Lady and the Anamoly

Given that she’s about to prematurely die of old age, it’s reasonable that Octavia looks a lil rough here. Still, those matted clumps cannot be forgiven, or forgotten.

Bellamy Blake

BEST - Prince Curls

Sad puppy with boyish, messy curls, which frame his brooding eyes becomingly? Yes please. I want to hold his lil face between my hands.

WORST - Jock Jackass

See, now, I want to punch his lil face, instead. Thank GOD this atrocious hairstyle only lasted one episode.

​The 100 Aesthetic/Preferences Tag

This is a tag game about AESTHETICS, not content, plot, characterization, etc. Just keep that in mind.

2 > 1 > 3 > 5 > 4 (me, petty: *won’t even put 6 on the ranking*)

2 - I think 2 has Octavia’s best look, very ‘Grounder In Training’ which was really really cute lol. Then there was the beginning of Clarke’s desent into grime, from pristine princess to getting weighed down with the dirt of her own emotions and percieved obligations and I liked to see it.

1 - everyone is clean and baby-faced and it reminds me of a simpler time. Was a fan of guard!Bellamy hair gel and all, it really brought out the douche in him. This season has my favourite Raven (she GLOWS) and Clarke Sky Babe looks. Jasper’s goggles. Dropship site was iconic.

3 - I appreciated the grimy aesthetic of season three because they really committed to the Goin’ Thru It.

The drastic shift in Jasper’s look was something I really liked. His boyish features are gone and now merely a ghost of innocence remains, in it’s place we have a more mature, hardened demeanor in the form of facial hair and a lack of cute, floppy hairstyle.

5 - we got the spacekru ‘clan’ look! In previous seasons we’ve seen clans have markers indicating who they belong to, Trikru with their earthy colours and wearing leaves, Azgeda with their furs and white paints, and Floukru with their ocean imagery, and now we see the survivors of apocalypse in their bluish-grey space tones styled in a way that makes it absolutely clear they’re all apart of the same group. We see a new headscarf for Emori, still very much herself but refashioned. And no glove! She’s completely comfortable with her new family. The scarf was very unique to her character so someone tell me why after all this they completely threw it out for season 6? Oh yeah it’s because season 6 isn’t real, it didn’t happen, I do Not See It.

All the boys glo-ed up. Loved that. All the girls started wearing their hair looser, Raven has her two strands sneaking out of her signature ponytail- she still very much looks like ‘Raven’ but everyone just in general looks more relaxed, like they’ve had a breather. In terms of the world, I loved the stark differences in the three main locations, and every one of them felt haunting but in different ways. Ghost lands. The wasteland of 5 was almost reminicent of the desert back in season 2, now devistated. The bunker was suffocating and chilling. The valley felt weirdly sinister in all it’s colours.

4 - eventually everyone looked peak skaikru, no longer delinquents in their various multi-coloured bomber jackets, marking their youth, but fully-fledged members of their group. I liked the way s4 almost paralleled s1 in look, they’re all wearing the same colours, but while they are all technically clean, they still look less presentable and exhausted compared to S1. Bellamy, again, like in season 1, is in his guard uniform but it’s more an upgraded and more mature version. In a way it looked like we came full circle. And Clarke and Octavia both going back to a more skaigirl hairstyle was the cherry on top. Luna’s costumes are probably my favourites on the entire show. I have no idea how we went from costumes of such intricasy and consistency to...’what in the name of halloween store clearance sale is that?’ in season 6.

6 - sanctum’s costumes were literally so ugly i don’t even wanna talk about it please don’t make me do it...

ok i go

1) Controversial ik but Emori’s Prime dress missed the mark. I liked the addition of the cape, but, again, it was so bare otherwise. There was no embroidery, no jewels, and the accessories they did give her were clunky and looked cheap. It looked too prom night. She was supposed to be royalty. And she didn’t look like it at all.

2) Absolutely hated the fact they put a pound of makeup on each of the space sisters’ faces. And the fact they gave them all unnaturally curled hair. Meanwhile Clarke and Octavia still somewhat look natural and ordinary so...what’s going on? And why?

some thoughts;

Not a fan of her season 4 hair, and i can’t articulate my dislike very well but why’d her roots get so dark? She never had dark roots in season 1, this character is a natural blonde, and yet over the seasons they became progressively darker and tbh? It started to irritated me. Also I don’t think the cut framed her face quite right? SOMETHING okay? Something about it......

The real debate: Bellamy in the blue shirt or the tan?

They both look the same to me. lol. Blue.

Clarke’s blue dress or pink dress?

Neither. Both weren’t very good looking. If you were holding me at gun point I’d say blue, but the cut did the opposite of help. And if they were gonna have a moment where Clarke, oblivious to her own *ethereal beauty* and not like the other girls, walks down the stairs ready to throw her hair into a messy bun and get sold to One Direction, they could’ve at least put her in a more suitable dress. Something a bit more glamourous, sophisticated, something to justify the 10 people in the room staring up at her in awe. It’s such a casual, tasteless dress? And she isn’t even wearing shoes? She isn’t wearing anything shiny, she didn’t do anything to her hair. We saw what other dresses and accessories Delilah had in her closet, the yellow and pink soft-flowing, feminine classy dresses and the pretty headwear she wore in her own short time in the season. But you give Clarke, your protagonist, that unflattering one? One that she so clearly hastily threw on and headed out in? She got two outfit changes, while none of the other main girls got any at all, and they were both ugly LIKE what was even the point?

Favorite Raven season: Her season 1 baby face just cannot be beat, she looks beautiful. And I only use that word very particularly.

Raven’s ark vest or red bomber jacket?

how about that red popper shirt from season 4

Raven’s ponytail or her s6 look?

Ponytail. It’s Raven. S6 look betrayed what her character was about.

Favorite Octavia season: 2! I love the baby grounder look.

Octavia’s hair in s2 (the braids) or s4 (the ponytail)?

The braids just because they were more interesting to look at.

Blodreina or Skairipa?

Blodreina. Like I said somewhere up there ^ that whole costume was a breath of fresh air.

Favorite Murphy season: S5!

Murphy with long hair or short hair?

I appreciated the rat boy look while it lasted, but the short hair makes him look good, while his other hairstyles pretty much were just there to contribute to the climate of his character.

Favorite Monty season: 5. Bout time they made him look grown. He’s actually a pretty ruthless and passive aggressive kid, the fact he looked so sweet in previous seasons really tricked a lot of the fanbase into believing he was some tiny cinnamon roll.

Favorite overall episode: I’m awful at seperating episodes. I just can’t do it lol

Favorite scene of all time: I just don’t have the best memory for these things. I quite liked the reveal of Blodreina, the transition is takes from Cooper in the very first arena fight to current day, and it switches from blue to red, and slowly reveals Blodreina. The music change gave me chills. Everything about the scene just felt really dark and eery. I was uncomfortable. And I loved it.

Biggest wish for s7: Visually/aesthetically, decide which style you’re going for. I’ve said this before somewhere but Sanctum was a confusing mess of sci-fi, royal, prom night, and divergent amity. Pick one and get back to me.

I want a better designed world. I want all the set and costume designers to actually communicate and work together to make the world look like something professional and not a cosplay convention on a cheap set with a big paper mache castle.

Also I’d love for all the girls to not be all dolled-up. Give Raven her ponytail back, I’ll even settle for the low pony. Give Emori her headscarf back. And go get them all some face wipes. Maybe give someone other than Clarke an oppurtunity to wear something besides their murder gear. And maybe make that something actually good looking. Put some effort in. Sheesh.

Biggest wish for s7: Aesthetic wise, I kind of want everyone to go back to the messy looks of old.  Don’t get me wrong, the glow ups (particularly Murphy) are great, but like... they’re all so clean........ give me grimy give me messy give me thrown together clothing looks.

1. Stiles and Lydia (Teen Wolf) - They had me hooked just with the fact that he had a crush on her since third grade. But they became soo much more than that. The way their friendship developed was so beautiful. They would do anything for each other. It took her some time to realize just how important he is to her, but when she did it was everything. I was so happy they were endgame, even though they deserved more.

2. Amy and Rory (Doctor Who) - The cutest couple!! They stole my heart completely. Their devotion to each other is truly everything. “To save you, i could do anything”... oh my heart! He literally waited 2000 years just to keep her safe. And she chose him again and again because she can’t live without him. 

3. Joey and Pacey (Dawson’s Creek) - The classic hate to love story. They couldn’t stand each other, but underneath all that their was something there. The way their relationship developed was just incredible. The season 3 finale was one of the most satisfying tv season endings ever with them sailing off together. And they have so many iconic lines like “I remember everything” and “The simple act of being in love with you is enough for me”

4. Charlie and Claire (LOST) - On an island full of mayhem, we have this beautiful and pure couple. They both needed each other. She was missing peanut butter, so he gave her imaginary peanut butter. He called their love “spectacular, conscious altering love.” Their reunion made me cry tears of happiness! i’ll never forget it.

5. Logan and Veronica (Veronica Mars) - They had one of the best tv first kisses of all time. They also have one of the best romance quotes, “I always thought are story was epic.” Their story was messy at times, but they were always meant to be. I was so happy to see them together again in the movie. And now we’ll get to see them again in the revival! :D

Newly appointed Queensland coach Billy Slater has rejected claims a lack of coaching experience will be a hindrance in his role, declaring he's open to help but will tackle the position his own way.Slater, who played 31 Origins and was an integral member of Queensland's eight-year domination, was named as Paul Green's replacement after the premiership winner suffered a 2-1 defeat this year in his debut series as coach. It was revealed earlier this month that Green and the QRL had agreed to part ways.In the lead-up to Slater's elevation from Maroons selector to head coach, NSW mentor Brad Fittler questioned whether Slater could tackle Origin coaching without some sort of prior head coaching experience.Before taking the Blues job in 2018, Fittler had previous experience as a head coach for the Roosters, between 2007 and 2009.

(Getty)There's been speculation Slater will look to bring fellow rugby league greats and former Maroons teammates Cameron Smith and Johnathan Thurston, who was an assistant to Green this year, into the fold in some capacity for next year's series.Slater confirmed he'll appoint assistants in the coming months and is willing to work with Queensland greats to get the Maroons back to the top. Reports leading up to Slater's appointment claimed a senior mentor like Wayne Bennett was being sought to help the rookie coach with the transition.The Maroons great said having a mentor overseeing his tenure wasn't part of the deal with the QRL, but he's open to receiving help, although he's "confident" of doing it his way.Slater represented Australia in 30 Test matches and played 323 games for the Melbourne Storm, while playing 31 games for Queensland. He's effectively spent 12 months of his life in Origin camp.

I've got a great relationship with Craig and it goes further than a player and a coach," he said."I'm the person and coach that I am now because of the experiences I've had and Craig has been a big part of those. Am I going to be the same coach? No I don't think so."But there will be elements of his coaching philosophy that would have rubbed off on me. But at the same time there have been times in my career when I've challenged Craig to do things differently."That's what it's all about is crafting your own style and I'm looking forward to unearth that."

More often than not, Clarke can’t sleep. Sometimes it’s because her mind is racing and other times it’s because she decided to drink coffee a little later than she should have. Whatever the reason, she finds herself sitting in the rocking chair by the window (it was $3 on craigslist, practically a steal) and sketching. Usually it’s abstract things, like the curtains of her window or the moon in the sky. Today, it’s the boy currently sprawled out on her bed, snoring softly.

Drawing Bellamy is one of her favorite past times. He was her first real muse when they were kids, often posing with random items so she would draw him. He liked being a model for her, having her sketch all his sharp lines and when she would finish with it, he would grin and compliment himself on his own good looks. She would then question why she decided to choose him as her best friend.

He isn’t modeling for her this time. She’s catching him at his most vulnerable, naked and asleep. The nudity is a relatively new development. She’s been harbouring feelings for him for years, burying them down because timing was never right or because she feared she would lose him altogether and that was just not an option. Luckily, he felt the same and after a particularly messy misunderstanding they finally spoke their truths and have hardly seen the outside world ever since. To her complete surprise, he’s really good in bed.

She runs the pencil along the page, the familiar lines taking shape. She concentrates on the dip in his chest, the muscles of his abdomen, and the curve of his shoulders. She shades the signature messy curls, ensuring each hair is in it’s proper place. Drawing him is easy, her familiarity with every piece of him working to her advantage. But then she gets to the details of his face. The edge of his jaw is difficult, but she manages to get the shape right. She even gets the small crease in his forehead, but there is one thing she’s always struggled with. His damn freckles.

She loves them, the way they’re sprinkled along his cheek and form constellations over his nose. They suit him. They’re what makes Bellamy looks so…Bellamy. And she can never get them exactly right. She looks at him intently, doing her best to gain a pattern but she finds herself erasing every small dot she makes. She isn’t sure how long she sit there doing that before he begins to stir.

“Don’t move,” she snaps gently at him as his eyes flutter open. He freezes on instinct before realizing what she’s doing. He lets out a soft groan.

“If you wanted to draw me naked, all you had to do was ask.”

She doesn’t respond, just continues drawing while her eyes flit between him and the paper. She hears him move in the bed, “Quit moving!”

“I have to go to the bathroom,” he argues back, flipping the covers off himself. Normally, she would take the time to admire him. But her frustration is level ten.

“I can’t get them right!” she tosses the sketchpad onto the comforter with a huff and he pauses at the edge of the bed.

He picks it up and runs his fingers over the page, “What are you talking about? This is perfect!”

“I can’t figure out your damn freckles.”

He laughs then, falling back into the covers and holding his hand out to her. She takes it with a sigh and lies down next to him, taking the time to examine him more closely. Her nose is nearly brushing his cheek when he turns and kisses her softly.

“You know me better than anyone,” he mumbles, nudging her nose with his own and grabbing the picture from the bed. He holds it up to her with a smile, “But if you’d like to get a closer look at all of my ‘damn freckles’, I have them everywhere.”

She can’t help her curiosity. So she spends that entire morning figuring out exactly where they all are.  The next drawing she does of him is scary accurate.
